فيروس الكبد الوبائي سى هو من الفيروسات الصامته التى تقوم على تدمير الكبد وغالبا يجهل الشخص المريض اصابته بالمرض وذلك نتيجه ان حوالى 90% من المرضى المصابين لا يظهر لديهم اى اعراض للمرض الا بعد مرور اعوام طويله من الاصابه وتلف الكبد بشكل كبير وعدم قيامه بوظيفته بنسبه كبيره.
