Not all bacteria produce illnesses or cause a disease (pathogenic bacteria) some may be eliminated thorugh normal immune system response, others are not

The bacteria which is not eliminated and cause a disease is treated with antibacterial

Anti-bacterial are classified into classes each has a role in killing the bacteria through a known mechanism for each.

Fluoroquinolones a class of anti-bacterial known for its broad spectrum in killing various numbers of bacteria, which makes it popular for usage in many diseases including upper, lower respiratory tract infection, skin infections, urinary tract infections

Examples of these antibiotics /anti-bacterial are: ciprofloxacin (Meraflevet®), Gemifloxacin (Weptonal® ), moxifloxacin(Meramerix®).

Doctors may not select this class in potential cases of developing abnormal heart rhythms. Such as people who have prolong QT interval or very slow heart rate or taking medications that cause QT prolongation or who have low potassium levels.
