Pharmed Healthcare: Announced the Heterosofir new production line in the presence of Minister of Health Adel Al-Adawy, Dr. B. P. S. Reddy ,CMD and Dr. Mohamed Mabrouk, CEO. The drug has the same ingredients and raw materials as “Sovaldi”, which is used as a treatment for Hepatitis C. Pharmed Healthcare obtained the licence to produce and market the medicine from US company Gilead, which invented the drug, so it can be produced in Egypt, said Chairman and Managing Director of Pharmed Health-care Dc B.P.S Reddy.
“This is the first investment by Hetero in Egypt, pumping EGP 250m, and we are targeting to increase investment to reach EGP 1Bn during two years,” Reddy told Daily News Egypt. Pharmed owns 30 factories world-wide,with the new Egyptian factory set to extend to four production lines soon, up from the current two. Reddy noted the Egyptian factory will provide the medicine to I m patient per year.

إنتاج نصف مليون عبوة هيتيروسوفير بدءًا من يونيو
قال الدكتور محمد مبروك، الرئيس التنفيذى لشركة “فارميد هيلث كير”، إن عقار هيتيروسوفير، الذى سيتم إنتاجه بمصنع الشركة، بمحافظةالمنوفية، سيتوفر بالأسواق بداية من شهر يونيو؛ حيث سيتم إنتاج نصف مليون عبوة في بداية العام.
وأكد مبروك، خلال افتتاح الدكتور عادل العدوي، وزير الصحة، مصنع “فارميد هيلث كير”، اليوم الأحد، بمدينة السادات، لتصنيع هتيروسوفير -بديل “سوفالدي”- لعلاج فيروس سي، أن مدخلات صناعة العقار كلها مصرية باستثناء المادة الخام، التى توفرها “هيتيرو”، التى تعطى دفعة غير مسبوقة للقطاع الدوائى فىمصر.
حضر الافتتاح الدكتور هشام عبد الباسط، محافظ المنوفية، وفيشفاس سابكال، القائم بأعمال السفارة الهندية بالقاهرة. وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي، أن المصنع سيوفر ما يقرب من ألف فرصة عمل مباشرة و10 آلاف فرصة عمل غير مباشرة، بالإضافة إلى إثراء خبرات العمالة المصرية بأحدث التكنولوجيات والمدخلات العالمية الحديثة؛ لضمان خروج منتج يوافق أعلى المعايير والمواصفات باستثمارات تصل إلى ملياري جنيه.
